Upbit delists RVN, 6 GB cards until March 2027: two deadlines

Raven in front of October and March calendar next to a graphics card – Upbit delisting and DAG limit

Two dates: Upbit in October 2026; 6-GB cards expected in March 2027

Two dates that Ravencoin users should keep straight. Upbit will delist RVN on October 12; withdrawals will be available until November 11. The KawPow-DAG is expected to remove 6-GB blocks from the algorithm on March 20, 2027. The first is an exchange calendar. The second is physics in GPU memory.

No buy recommendation. No “last chance.” If you have coins on Upbit or are mining with 6 GB, you have a to-do list—that’s it.

The Two Deadlines

Upbit DAG / 6 GB
What Happens Trading in RVN/KRW, RVN/BTC, and RVN/USDT has been discontinued DAG no longer fits reliably within 6 GB of VRAM
Cutoff Date October 12, 2026, 3:00 p.m. Korean time Approx. March 20, 2027 (Epoch 641, Block 4,807,500)
After that Deduction available through November 11, 2026 The map no longer launches KawPow, or it launches but is unstable
Who It Affects Anyone with RVN balances on Upbit 1660 Super, 2060 6 GB, 5500 XT, and comparable 6-GB cards

1. Upbit: What Has Been Decided

On September 10, 2026, Upbit formalized the delisting. Reason: Risk following the consensus incident in August; classified as a high-risk asset as early as August 11. Trading will end on October 12, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. KST (8:00 a.m. CEST in Germany, provided there is no daylight saving time change in the meantime—the time on Upbit applies). Open orders will be canceled.

Withdrawals will remain available for 30 days. Last day: November 11, 2026. Anyone who still has RVN on Upbit after that will have to rely on the exchange's support, not the blockchain.

Other exchanges continue to list RVN (Binance, Bitvavo, Gate, and others). Be sure to check the respective website for deposit and withdrawal information after August. Guide: How to Buy Ravencoin in 2026.

Withdrawal, without sending the coins to the wrong address

  1. Core v4.8.0 or Electrum-Ravencoin ready, seed offline. Do not use Ledger Live to receive assets if you're transferring them.
  2. Generate a receiving address. It begins with R. Cross-check: Address check.
  3. On Upbit, select Ravencoin / RVN —not Wrapped, not Bitcoin, and no memo.
  4. Send a small test amount. Only send the rest once it appears in the wallet.
  5. After that, don't leave your assets on Upbit.

If you want to trade in euros after withdrawing funds: Bitvavo (RVN/EUR) or Binance (usually USDT). Only deposit funds when withdrawals are available. Do not leave your holdings on the exchange indefinitely.

What Upbit Is Not

  • No indication that the chain is being shut down.
  • There's no obligation to sell RVN before trading ends. If you want to hold onto it, just withdraw it and keep it in your wallet.
  • There's no reason to share your seed with a "backup wallet" in chat.

2. DAG: Why 6 GB Has a Date

KawPow loads the entire DAG into video memory. Initial size: 1,024 MB, plus 8 MB every 7,500 blocks (approximately every 5.2 days). As of this page: block height around 4,535,137, epoch 604, DAG 5,856 MB (5.72 GB).

The 6-GB limit on public computers is at Epoch 641, Block 4,807,500 —which often corresponds to March 20, 2027, on the calendar. Miners need headroom for drivers. As a result, some 6-GB cards fail before that date.

Live: DAG Clock.

VRAM Location
4 GB out
6 GB Window expected to remain open until March 2027, then close
8 GB Outlook for November 2030
10 GB+ not an issue in this decade

What Miners Are Doing Now

  • Power and Profit: Mining Calculator. At 0.28–0.40 €/kWh, KawPow is almost always in the red in fiat currency.
  • 6-GB rig: Don't buy a new one for 2027.
  • New card for RVN only: 8 GB minimum. Guide: Mining 2026.
  • Pool and Line: Pools, miner command. Payout to your own R address, Core 4.8.0.

3. Why both topics are included in one text

Upbit is the result of the August exploit in terms of how a major exchange is perceived. DAG continues to grow regardless. If you just stare at the price, you'll miss the withdrawal. If you just mine, you'll miss the VRAM date.

Common denominator: Control over the address and hardware. Tools: ravencoin.de/tools.

4. Quick Check

  • RVN on Upbit? Test transaction first, then the rest, before November 11.
  • Address with an "R," check page, no memo.
  • Wallet v4.8.0.
  • 6-GB GPU: Note the DAG clock; no need for KawPow to buy a new one.
  • 8 GB or more: Calculate your own kWh price.

More context: September News · What 2026 Brought.

This is not investment advice. Please verify the times on Upbit. The DAG date is estimated based on a constant block time.
